Newport Performing Arts Theater
The Newport Performing Arts Theater at Newport World Resorts in Pasay is the closest thing the Philippines has to a purpose-built Broadway house. It seats roughly 1,500, it was designed for long-running musical theatre rather than converted from a function room, and it is home to the resident productions that have shaped Philippine commercial theatre over the last decade. Because the house is small, sightlines are good throughout and there is no genuinely bad seat. It is also the most convenient major venue in the country if you are flying: a covered walkway connects it to NAIA Terminal 3 in about five minutes.
